Job Huntings

Step by Step for ESL Teaching Job Hunting for Private Acacdemy Position:

1. Fill out the Online Application.
2. You will receive recommended jobs from GMSC.
3. You will discuss with a school on its WORK AGREEMENT through GMSC.
4. You will sign on the WORK AGREEMENT that you will choose.
5. You will send your documents for E-2 visa to the school by priority mail.
6. The school will take the documents to a Korean Immigration Office to get You a "VISA PERMISSION ISSUED IN     NUMBER".
7. The school will email you the "VISA Permission ID Number" that you will take to a Korean Consulate for E-2 visa.
8. You may be required to have a visa interivew.
9. You will receive a visa about 3 to 5 business days after the visa interivew.
10. Once it is done, the school will provide you with one-way ticket to Korea.
11. Once you arrive at the airport, you will be picked up from the airport to your accommodation.

Step by Step for Public School Position:

1. Fill out the Ministry of Education Application Form and sign on a contract (Please note that we are an authorized     agency by Ministry of Education of a group of provinces in Korea.
2. You will courier all the required visa documents(Public school visa documents) to GMSC Seoul office.
3. Your documents will be forwarded to the Ministry of Education once the application is complete.
5. Your acceptance letter will be issued about 3 business days after the Education District receives your documents from     GMSC Seoul.
6. You will visit a closest Korean consulate to apply for a visa with your passport, acceptance letter etc.
7. You may be required to have a visa interview if you are a first time applicant for an E-2 visa.
8. You will receive a visa about 3 to 5 business days after the interview.
9. Once it is done, you will buy one-way ticket to Korea (All public schools will NOT provide with a prepaid ticket, but they     will reimburse instead).
10. Once you arrive at the airport, you will be picked up from the airport to your accommodation.
